When I, aswell as a close-friend were 13-14, we'd often ride/race our pedal-bikes around the cemetery close to my parents house. This church had a nice and smooth blacktop road that circled around down a small hill still within the cemetery. Maybe 1/8 mile long, narrow and made for decent pedal bike riding.

No one at the church ever minded. We were good kids, they seen we never caused any havoc or mischief so why bother us?

One day, Chris and I were riding around the cemetery as we did like usual, cruising around on the hot blacktop in the middle of the summer. We came to a stop just at the top of the hill out of breath swigging a drink from our water bottles contemplating while sharing ideas on where to go next. He and I were facing each other but kind of at an angle.

At the moment I was looking to my right into the cemetery down towards the bottom maybe a quarter mile away, Chris looking forwards kind of behind the cemetery you could say. I was on the inner most edge of the blacktop, Chris the left outer edge. I turn back to look at Chris to see how much water he had left when all of the sudden there's a lady standing next to me on my left. Neither Chris or myself heard anybody come walking. She was just there. Just to my left. Staring at us.

Her face, a very pale-white. She wore a vanilla-sweater and beige old-lady pants? Oh yeah, she was mean. This person scolded us for riding around the cemetery. She even said "NO BIKES IN THE CEMETERY!" I told her "we weren't hurting anything and the church staff doesn't mind" I looked at Chris wide-eyed and confused...in that instant she was gone no where to be seen or heard.

Like she was never even there. We both confirmed that she was, heard and saw the exact same thing.

The Church entrances were a good 25-30 yards away. Surely at least one of us would had seen her walk away. I remember not being frightened, more annoyed that the ghost-lady cared. She was probably a snob in life too. We ended up racing around the place for another 15 minutes or so before heading out. Chris and I still bring this up from time to time.

Yeah. Odd how it works out that she looked just like a normal-human.

Interesting story, broad daylight sightings happen more than you would think. A similar thing happened to a friend of mine named "Tony." He told me that when some of his friends were on a country road, sitting in the window frame of an abandoned homesteader's house, that he was laughing so hard that...

Very true, Aaron. It didn't even frighten me. Kind of startled me, but it's the same kind of startled you'd get from that of a living person that sneaks up on you. She was there, then poof... she was gone. We didn't even care, we just continued to sit there and talk. Man, she was mean lol.

That's funny. But still pretty bizarre. I wonder what the lady was up to. She had to materialize just to complain. Man...people are annoying alive and annoying in death it seems haha.

Must had. She probably did the same thing to the kids while she was alive. I'm sure their impression of her was the same as ours.
