This started back when I was 12 yrs old. I was home alone watching a movie (Little Big Man) and I kept seeing this white mist go by in the corner of my eye.
Every time I look at it, it would disappear. So I shrugged it off as my eyes playing tricks on me. I kept seeing it throughout the entire evening, but never once thought of it as being paranormal.
Back then, people really didn't talk about ghosts and stuff, definitely wasn't something discussed in our house.
Anyways, throughout the years we would hear the door to the garage shut, my dog would bark at nothing in the middle of the night at the closet in my bedroom.
I was about 14 or so, my younger sister and I were up late on a Friday night watching Mtv and Night Tracks (another show with music videos), anyways it was around midnight or so, and all of a sudden the buzzer went off.
Mind you, this is the mid 80s, and the only type of buzzer on the stoves were the dial buzzers. There's no way this buzzer was accidentally bumped or someone left it on... it's only an hour buzzer.
Anyways, that cut our night short, we were both freaked out, ran into the kitchen to turn off the buzzer and ran out. We didn't know what it was or why it happened, again, ghost wasn't the answer nor did it come up as that.
When I was 16, I had come home late from work, and I was studying for a test, I had turned off my light and all of a sudden, my bed started lightly shaking (like when you move your feet, the bed barely moves).
I sat up, turned my light on, looked around, under my bed etc.. nothing, so I figured I was moving my feet like I always do, and just didn't realize it...so I turned off my light, still a little spooked.
I pulled the covers up to my chin, and faced the wall, because if there was someone or something in my room, I didn't want to see it.
I was almost asleep and then it happened, something tapped my shoulder. I got up and ran into my mom's room, told her what happened, she didn't believe me. I slept in my mom's room for 3 weeks, didn't go into my room after dark as well.
Finally my mom asked my brother if he had seen or heard a ghost in the house.
My brother said he's seen it several times, but didn't tell anyone. My room was his old room.. I took back my room by saying, "I know you are here, but this is MY room and you leave me alone." I haven't heard or seen anything again in that house. However my saga does continue.. more later.
