Hello, my name is Amie and I belong to The Paranormal Activity Study Team, aka PAST, which is out of Gettysburg/Fairfield PA.
Needless to say, I have had my share of sightings on the battlefields, but none compare to what I saw on Saturday night, around 10:30.
I wasn't even supposed to go out to Sachs Bridge that evening, but my daughter had a friend over, and they wanted to go find some ghosts! Of course, I told them it is extremeley hard to actually catch an apparition.
For those of you who are not familiar with Sachs Bridge, three Confederate Soldiers were hung on the bridge. I have never seen an apparition at Sachs, but I have gotten several EVP's.
We started out on the bridge, but it was a warmish evening, and a lot of people had the same idea. I asked the girls if they wanted to go back to the field, as people usually don't go there. They were game, so off we went!
At the exact time we reached the opening to the field, a car pulled into the parking lot, which you have to walk through to get to the field. Well the lights illuminated the field and WOWZA! Right where the field meets the forest line were our three shadows.
In between the shadows, were the apparitions of Three Confederate Soldiers! I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me because I have not seen an apparition straight on for quite some time! My daughter screamed 'MOMMY'!!!
And I said "I know, I saw them! How cool is that'? Next thing I know, Tori (daughter) starts crying, and was absolutely terrified. All I wanted to do was charge back to the forest line....but being the good Mom I am, I took care of Tori. I put her in the car with her friend, and went back to the feild. But, alas, they were gone.
I will tell you that the one in the middle could have been a re-enactor he was so solid! But, his side kicks were not nearly as solid. The one to the left was semi-transparent, and the one on the right, well, I could barely tell he was a confederate apparition.
Well, I FINALLY saw my Sach Bridge apparitions, and not where I expected them to be. I always thought I would see them on the bridge. Never thought I would see them where I did!
