This story goes back to 10 years ago when I was a 7 year old boy. I came home from the school, ate my launch and fell asleep. I slept for 7 hours and when I woke up it was almost 9PM. I knew it would be hard to sleep through the night since I already slept for 7 hours.
I got up and started to play my PS1. Resident Evil 2. Well, it was not that scary. I was hungry because I had not eaten anything since launch but more than that, I was thirsty.
I took a look at the clock. It was almost 2 A.M. I walked out of my room and to my destination, the kitchen. When I got near there I heard the sound of water. Not drips but squirts of water. Then I wondered who would be in the kitchen at this hour.
What is he/she doing? Thinking about these I entered the kitchen and saw a woman dressed as a servant who was standing there washing dishes.
I said "MOM" and again with a louder voice "MOMMY". Though I knew she was not my mom since my mom didn't have blonde hair (yeah, her hair was blond) and such a dress. Aside why would she wash dishes at 2 A.M...but that was the only word I could think of at the moment.
My heart was beating 10 times per second as she turned around.
A woman with blond hair and a scary burnt face was staring at me. I was frozen for about 10 seconds and we were gazing at each other. Then suddenly I ran to my room, locked the door and hid under my blanket till the morning.
I couldn't close my eyes for a second. The picture of that woman would come to my mind as soon as I closed my eyes. Then I got out of my bed but I was afraid to unlock the door and walk out of my room.
Finally my mom knocked the door and yelled "come on baby, wake up, it's getting too late" and that was a dream come true for me. That day, I went to school then came back home. Since then nothing strange happened in my life; But I always ask myself who was that woman?
Why was she there and why was she dressing like a servant?
Was she even real or an illusion? because my mind was tired and I played Resident Evil that night which I doubt because I could hear water and the jarring sound of dishes? Eyes might lie but ears, they don't lie. However, it seems these questions will remain unanswered.
